We had a star fruit tree by our house in Ha Noi and Emily would eat these every day they were in season- right off the tree! How fun to find these in a local deli (very NOT free like that tree we used to live by….) π

Itβs so beautiful down on the beach. The air is so cool and fresh. The scenery is always changing with the weather, and there are often boats coming and going. Some fishermen had a tiny dog that loves children and was adored by Lani. All three girls ran off up the beach with it after the poor thing fell in the water jumping from boat to jetty, so he needed a run to get dry again.

And she said, “But who will make my cup of tea in the mornings?!”
(Here she is under an electric snuggle blanket π

We bought four different farms’ strawberries and gave each a maximum score of 3. We had a winner!

We walked down the Esplanade to a playground and then the temperature dropped and we started to make for home but the rain got us! We took refuge for a few moments in the public toilet but then decided to make a run for it. It was good enforced exercise!! π
We also saw a full rainbow and got to see one end of it in a field! Phillippa brought a yummy Jubilee Twist for afternoon tea π
