Friends!
Some lovely neighbours came to do craft with us
Announced that she stepped on a dead bee.
Mama asked why she would do that if the bee was already dead. “I wanted to make it deader.”
Off to find a store to buy bread. Shop closed. No bread. 2.30pm so should probably feed the children lunch.
Estuary. Across the road. Our attempts to teach the girls not to run toward animals are not going so well.
“Please mama can I go inside the swag and do a Math workbook?”
(Hmm, well I don’t know… have you been a good girl?)
Haircut.
It was down below her eyes in some places!
Sconey-dampery thing made on the BBQ.
Made this for second breakfast/morning tea. Then Jonathon pointed out that it was nearly 1pm!
A lovely spot to eat brekky
The man of the (motor) house. Making pancakes.
Upon being urged to eat some pancakes himself, he answered, rubbing his hands together, “I’m ok; I will just keep making them and if there’s any left over I will eat them”.
Then, “Oh wow! I sound just like my Dad!”
You do, my love. You take after your gracious host of a father!
